The tree in my grandads back yard.

putting my book together :)

This is a branch from the big tree in the back of my granddads yard the tree has been there sinse he was a little boy  

cutting up the ghost prints of the family, making them in to butterflies to put them on the tree... it represents a family tree

Idea to maybe have like a family tree beside my book with my ghost print of my family turned in to little butterflies hanging over the book? might not look right it could look crowded :/

Ideas...My prints on the according pages that you can pull them out of the books to see them more

This is an idea for my book art im going to put 2 books up to form a box shape on the outside im going to have a face of my grandad and glasses so you have to look thru them to see my prints inside.

Idea

I was thinking i could make a light box out of books with holes so you have to look in to see my prints .. and my print plate ... something like this except with a hole to peek through.

Family album??

 Google images that gave me a different approach to my final piece.

Im Thinking i could change my idea from a mosaic to carving/cutting in to each page, but have a portrait cut-out of my granddad, then have prints of what make him up underneath his cut-out portrait..., eg. family, car, his farming hat etc. so i would still be able to have lettering and words in my piece. I could call my book a family album? it would still have the same drawings and prints I would have used in a mosaic, but this way it will be more 3D than flat..
